High school student Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) lives with his mother in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Las Vegas, chatting casually and daydreaming about beautiful female classmates like any other teen. One day, Charlie's life takes a turn when a classmate named Adam goes missing, and his childhood friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) suspects that Adam's disappearance is related to vampires, urging Charlie to help him investigate. Meanwhile, a new neighbor moves in next door to the Brewsters, a handsome adult man named Jerry (Colin Farrell), whose charming demeanor captivates Charlie's mother, but his true identity seems to tie in with the vampires Ed is investigating. A dark cloud hovers over the community as strange events begin to unfold... This film is a remake of the 1985 movie of the same name.
