The story takes place during the Anti-Japanese War. The porcelain master Hao Maoting is betrayed by the traitor Tang Huatao. The Japanese learn that Hao Maoting's family is hiding a national treasure, the Jun porcelain general's wine vessel. Hao Maoting instructs his daughter Hao Meizhen (played by Ping An) to escape with the general's wine vessel overnight, but Hao Maoting and his wife are killed by the Japanese invader Katayama Koichi (played by Chunyushanshan). The housekeeper Hong De (played by Wang Hongxiang) witnesses the tragic scene and, having served the Hao family for many years, bursts with anger. Late at night, he protects Meizhen as she goes to the grave of her parents to pay respects, unexpectedly being tracked by Japanese spies lurking there. To protect Meizhen, Hong De is captured by the Japanese, and the general's wine vessel falls into their hands. Katayama Koichi, not satisfied with obtaining the general's wine vessel, also wants the formula for making Jun porcelain. Therefore, he plans to release Hong De and has the beautiful spy Maruo Rinko pretend to be a Chinese girl Bai Ling to save Hong De and gain his trust. Maruo Rinko successfully moves into the home of Hong De and Meizhen, but will Hong De discover the approaching danger...?
