Lu Changfu (played by Cha Tae-hyun) appears to be an ordinary young man on the surface, but he possesses a remarkable "dynamic vision." In his childhood, due to this unusual trait, Lu Changfu was often bullied and criticized by those around him, which hurt his young heart. He spent his days hiding at home, never stepping outside, relying on watching television dramas to get by. However, the world behind the screen is ultimately an illusion. Eventually, Lu Changfu decides to step outside his home and see what the real society is like. Lu Changfu arrives at the Korean Surveillance Control Center but faces obstacles at work due to his personality, and his interactions with colleagues are not pleasant. Fortunately, he meets a PhD named Byeong-soo (played by Oh Dal-su), who becomes his strongest support. Utilizing his special ability, Lu Changfu quickly gains the trust of his superiors. One day, while monitoring the surveillance screens, Lu Changfu sees a girl named Soo-mi (played by Nam Sang-mi), and the wheels of fate begin to turn.
