Carlos (played by Antonio de la Torre), who runs a tailor shop, is quiet and elegant. He lives in a serene and comfortable small town in Spain, spending his days solely on sewing and cooking, with love seeming completely unrelated to his life. The woman often makes loud phone calls and argues, and the sudden noise clearly disrupts Carlos's sheltered life, but he seems to develop a subtle, hard-to-notice interest in Alexandra. One evening, Alexandra approaches Carlos, hoping he can take her to file a police report. Carlos, hiding terrible secrets, has his deathly silent life disturbed...
