Years ago, humanity defeated "Godzilla" with the super battleship "Hōten" in Antarctica and sealed "Godzilla" underground. However, the Earth is not only home to "Godzilla" but also many other monsters threatening major human cities. Hence, humanity established the "Earth Defense Force," specifically to deal with various monster invasions.
