A sudden car accident leads the dispatch employee Harumi Hagi (played by Keiko Kitagawa) to be hospitalized. During her stay, she encounters the caring and gentle nurse Riko Nishimura (played by Kyoko Fukada), who is understanding and attentively helps Harumi negotiate compensation with the accident driver Kensuke Kudo (played by Kengo Kora) and Kudo’s friend at the insurance company, Shinichi Hasegawa (played by Hiroyuki Onoue). On the eve of her discharge, Harumi invites Riko, who plans to resign, to share an apartment with her. The two girls get along famously, joyfully sharing a cohabitation diary to express their thoughts. However, as they spend more time together, Harumi occasionally notices Riko’s cold expressions that flash briefly. Strange and frightening events begin to occur around them, suggesting that Riko harbors a cold-blooded persona named Mary within her. Harumi wants to escape, but ultimately discovers that everything is not as simple as it seems... This film is adapted from the original work by the detective fiction writer Aya Koike.
