On the surface, Shino Oshima (played by Miku Nansha) appears to be a very cute and ordinary girl, but as soon as she speaks, her severe stutter reveals her flaws. Because of her speech impediment, Shino has often been bullied by classmates since childhood, living for years in a world of mockery and discrimination, and even teachers sometimes inadvertently hurt her fragile heart. One day by chance, Shino meets a girl named Kayo (played by Ayaka Saida), who is a child that loves to sing very much. Although she is tone-deaf, this does not diminish her passion for music. After hearing Shino's singing, Kayo invites her to form a group and participate in a competition hosted by their school. Although Shino speaks in fits and starts, her singing voice is exceptionally beautiful, and through her singing, she gradually begins to change her classmates' prejudices against her.
