When Skeeter (played by Adam Sandler) was a child, the hotel built with his father's hard work was sold to Nottingham. Nottingham transformed the hotel into a resort and promised to return it to Skeeter for management when he grew up. To fulfill this promise, 25 years later, Skeeter is still working diligently as a handyman at the hotel, only to hear that Nottingham has appointed someone else as the new hotel general manager. 　　Frustrated, Skeeter crafts his experiences and hopes into bedtime stories for his niece and nephew. To his surprise, the whimsical plots begin to manifest in reality, bringing him joy. He decides to use these stories to reclaim his dream of getting the hotel back. However, the children are critical of the carefully arranged content of his stories, forcing reality to take unexpected turns...
