Peter O'Toole plays the editor of a fashion magazine who falls in love with every beautiful woman he meets, which causes him great distress. He seeks help from psychologist Peter Sellers, but this genius doctor is even crazier than he is. Additionally, his troublesome friend Woody Allen complicates matters further, which creates chaos in his relationship with his fiancée, Romy Schneider. This film was written by Woody Allen, who later became a famous director in America, marking his debut in the film industry, in which he also stars. Directed by British director Clive Donner, the film uses the absurd scenario of a man who succeeds with women yet desperately tries to remain faithful to his fiancée to create a comedic satire on gender relations. The film is filled with slapstick humor, and the actors buzz about like ants on a hot pan, creating a lively atmosphere. The film features the renowned British comedian Peter Sellers as the hilarious doctor, and Peter O'Toole, who gained fame for his role in "Lawrence of Arabia."
