After his wife passed away, in order to work and support the family, Dad brought 8-year-old Zhen to Grandma's house in the countryside, hoping Grandma could take care of Zhen for a summer. Grandma is elderly and not very talkative. She lovingly prepares meals for Zhen, but Zhen refuses to eat and just walks away.
