In Gotham City, a series of kidnapping cases occur, with Batman as the prime suspect. Batman (voiced by Jason O'Mara) and Green Lantern (voiced by Justin Kirk) split up to find clues to the real culprit, who leaves behind a mysterious device before self-destructing. To unravel the secrets of the device, the two set out to find Superman (voiced by Alan Tudyk) in hopes of uncovering the truth. Just as they are getting closer to the facts, the device suddenly activates, revealing itself as a time-space portal set up by an alien invader, allowing a large number of aliens to start invading Earth. Meanwhile, Dr. Stone also investigates the mysterious device, and Stone's son Vic (voiced by Shemar Moore) is accidentally infected by it, coming back to life as a powerful super soldier.
