Sarah (Jodie Comer) grew up in a world of denial, but found her life's value and direction through her experience as a caregiver at a sunny care center. Empathetic and understanding, she excels at communicating with patients and easily earns their trust. Among many patients, a middle-aged man named Tony (Stephen Graham) poses a significant challenge for Sarah. Tony suffers from early-onset Alzheimer's disease, accompanied by violent behavior, and only Sarah in the entire care center can manage him. The outbreak of COVID-19 drastically changed the situation in the hospital, and the continuous emergence of the pandemic and unexpected events led Sarah to question her abilities and choices. The authorities' misjudgment of the pandemic also prompted Sarah to reconsider the flaws and vulnerabilities in the healthcare system.
