Chika Takayoshi (played by Nana Seino) is an ordinary office worker. Her father bravely resigned to start his own business but suffered a disastrous failure, accumulating enormous debt. To help her father pay off the debt, Chika has to take on a part-time job as a hostess after work. Because of this, Chika, who has never been in a relationship, has lost hope in love, realizing that no man would want someone as unfortunate as herself. One day, the company's president, Hokuto Makiya (played by Kento Yamazaki), suddenly appears before Chika. To her surprise, Hokuto not only helps her pay off her debts but also proposes marriage. It turns out that Hokuto has his own reasons; to inherit his family's business, Chika must become his wife. Driven by mutual interests, a pair of unreliant individuals come together. What kind of sparks will fly between them in their future lives?
