The Vice President of the United States brings his daughter Katherine Turner (played by Charlotte Kate Fox) to Japan for a state visit. During her father's work, Katherine plans to enjoy her time in Japan. The Japanese Foreign Minister, Yukio Horiguchi (played by Koutarou Satomi), has a good relationship with the Vice President and serves as Katherine's bodyguard, assigning his nephew, Ichiro Horiguchi (played by Shosuke Tanihara), to assist her. Katherine had met a girl named Maiko Ogawa (played by Yuko Fueki) in the U.S., and she tries to reach out to her but receives no response, only to later discover that Maiko has died in a murder incident. Determined to uncover the truth, the brave and impulsive girl starts an investigation with Ichiro's help... The film is adapted from the popular mystery novel series by Misa Yamamura.
