It depicts a surgical cosmetic hospital in Los Angeles, where several beautiful women come to seek treatment, hoping to become models after their surgeries. Unexpectedly, the ambitious director uses a mysterious black box to spy on these female clients, and several of them end up with strange deaths. Albert Finney portrays a doctor who is a key suspect; he decides to investigate the truth to clear his name and ultimately uncovers the conspiracy of director James Coburn. The appearance of numerous beauties and thrilling voyeuristic shots undoubtedly attract viewers' attention. This film is similar in theme to Crichton's other work "The Terminal Man," with a comparable directorial style and entertainment effect.
