Nola Darling is a young Black woman living in Brooklyn, New York. She is in relationships with three men: the considerate yet overly protective Jamie; the wealthy but arrogant Greer; and the humorous yet immature Mars. All three desire to claim her love exclusively, but Nola wants to maintain her independence and refuses to choose one single partner.
