The girl Isia (played by Zaira Wasim) has a natural talent for singing and dreams of becoming a star. However, she lives in a constrained family where her mother Najima (Meher Vij) often faces physical abuse from her explosive and domineering father Farooq (Raj Arjun). Isia knows it's impossible to expect her father to support her musical dreams. One day, her mother sells her gold necklace to buy Isia a computer. Soon, Isia discovers that while she cannot realize her dreams in real life, the internet offers a broader stage. Isia records a video of herself singing and playing with her face covered and uploads it to YouTube, unexpectedly receiving a highly enthusiastic response. The renowned musician Shakti (played by Aamir Khan) also extends an olive branch to her.
