Tom (José Garcia) is a plastic surgeon living in Paris. In front of the women who long to be beautiful, he feels like a creator; however, for Tom, the monotonous routine of his daily life exhausts him and makes him contemplate escape. Julia (Caroline Vigneaux) is Tom's wife, pregnant and about to give birth. Even during this special time, Tom decides to take her and their two mischievous children on a vacation to a village in the south of France. This was supposed to be a warm family trip, but just before leaving, Julia’s boisterous and carefree grandfather, Ben (André Dussollier), suddenly decides to join them. To make matters worse, Tom discovers that his proud sports car, equipped with cruise control, has a malfunction shortly after they set off.
