Qianqian, a successful young female entrepreneur, encounters turbulence on her private jet during a business trip. The plane crashes into the sea, and she wakes up as the ancient Princess Miaoshan. Here, demons led by the Stone Demon wreak havoc at will. Qianqian saves General Wei and forms a demon-extermination team with him, Miaoshan's fiancé Qingming, the archer Wuyou, and the priest Xuanfant. They head to Wujishan to find the legendary artifact, the withered wooden staff, which can restrain the Stone Demon. Qingming cannot stand General Wei's enthusiasm for Qianqian, and they often clash.
