Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Emil Hirsch, Paz Vega ([Talk to Her]), Jeremy Piven ([Edge of Tomorrow]) will co-star in the noir thriller [American Night] (temporary translation). The film will be Alessio Jim Della Valle's directorial debut, with Valle personally writing the screenplay. The story follows Michael Rubino (played by Hirsch), who has just become the head of the New York Mafia, but his biggest dream is to devote his entire life to painting and become a great artist. Art dealer John Kaplan (played by Meyers) seems to be living in chaos, yet he possesses the keenest eye for spotting fakes from around the world. When Andy Warhol's "Pink Marilyn" is stolen, the lives of these two strangers intersect, leading to a series of events that will upend their lives.
