A middle-class couple goes on a road trip. The husband (played by Leon Niemczyk) is always boasting, while the wife (played by Jolanta Umecka) just goes along with him. Along the way, they encounter a young hitchhiker (played by Zygmunt Malanowicz). After discussing it, the couple decides to give him a ride. The three of them arrive at the seaside, and the husband plans to take his private sailboat out, inviting the young man to show off. The young man happily accepts, and they embark on their journey together. During the sailing, the young man gradually opens up to them, and they play a bamboo skewer game on the table. He admits to the couple that he cannot swim, so he is just playing with a dagger alone on the deck. The husband jokes with him but inadvertently throws the dagger into the sea. The young man gets very angry, resulting in a fight between the two, and they both fall into the water. The wife is panicked, and the relationship among the three of them begins to change...
