Cai Pu (played by Zhuang Yizeng) is a night security guard at a sculpture factory, taking care of his seriously ill mother at home. Du Cai (played by Chen Zhusheng) is Cai Pu's only friend, and Cai Pu often calls Du Cai over to keep him company during his night shifts.
