The film is a sharp anti-establishment comedy focused on the Northern Irish rap group Kneecap. The real rap group Kneecap, composed of Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí, is known for their rapping in Irish Gaelic, and their nationalistic works often address issues in Northern Ireland.
