Architect Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) leads a busy life every day. Despite having a successful career, a happy family with his beautiful and supportive wife Donna (Kate Beckinsale) and two lovely children, he always finds himself lacking time to fully enjoy his family life, avoiding and even forgetting promises made to his family for the sake of his promotion. Michael is looking for a universal remote control, which a mysterious boss named Morty (Christopher Walken) gives to him.
