This film is based on the director's childhood memories, as both of his parents were doctors. A female doctor at a rural hospital treats villagers and monks seeking medical help, while she is in a passionate romance with the owner of an orchid farm. At the same time, a doctor practicing in a city hospital falls in love with her, leading to an unusual emotional exchange between the two men. The director continues to portray the delicate emotions of the characters through long takes, with humorous supporting characters appearing throughout the film, such as a dentist moonlighting as a singer, an old monk seeking medicine who also dispenses it to others, and a young monk who dreams of becoming a record DJ.
