The victim was a Chinese woman, Chen Yilin, who was in the country illegally. The autopsy revealed signs of organ removal. Additionally, analysis by forensic scientists Ohmori and Takebayashi identified the mysterious man as Seiji Nozawa. Shiraishi went to visit a young man, Yamamoto Motoki (played by DaiYanagishita), who knew Chen Yilin, and Sakuragi decided to follow him and got involved in the investigation. They discovered that Bando had been implicated in organ trafficking and had connections to former Minister of Health Atsuo Mihara. Furthermore, Nozawa's daughter had given birth at Bando's hospital 14 years ago. As Takamine's assistant, Sakuragi visited the hospital where Nozawa's daughter, who had leukemia, was admitted. She obtained testimony from her mother, Hideko, but found no leads related to organ trafficking. Meanwhile, Tsukamoto and Kurata investigated the head nurse at Bando’s hospital, Akiko Hatayama, but also found no solid information...
