"Galileo: Forbidden Magic" depicts an incident that occurred four years before "The Silent Parade." Detective Shunpei Kusanagi and his subordinate Tomoka Makimura visit Professor Yukawa, an associate professor at Teito University. A strange video file has been found in the room of the murdered freelance writer Osamu Nagaoka, which suddenly shows a hole opening in the wall of a warehouse. Watching the video, Yukawa, usually uninterested, shows a rare curiosity. Noticing Yukawa's unusual demeanor as he says, "Show me the place where the footage was filmed," Kusanagi heads to the scene with Makimura.
