The film tells the coming-of-age story of A Rong (played by Leslie Cheung), Ka Bao (played by Danny Chan), and Ka Hui (played by Paul Chung) as they chase their dreams. A Rong, Ka Bao, and Ka Hui are classmates and friends from school, and after graduation, each makes different decisions regarding their life paths. A Rong comes from a poor background and is naturally rebellious, experiencing various hardships in life, while his conflicts with friends gradually dissolve. Ka Bao, who loves music, is determined to pursue his dream, and after being misunderstood by his family, he runs away, working part-time with A Rong and others, ultimately finding pure love and getting discovered by a record company for his own concert. The carefree brother Ka Hui takes the path favored by his parents but quietly supports his brother and friends from behind. How do these three students, who have graduated and are now unemployed, converge in this season of graduation where dreams clash violently with reality?
