The film tells the story set in the 10th century, under the rule of Sundara Chola, where the Chola dynasty flourishes in the southern part of the Indian Peninsula. His son, Prince Aditya, along with Rajaraja, successfully conquers Ganjibharam and Lanka. The king of the Pandya dynasty, Veerapandya, sacrifices himself in battle against Prince Aditya, prompting a group of loyal Pandya warriors to seek revenge for their king. Meanwhile, a faction of Chola leaders conspires to usurp Aditya's throne and appoint his uncle Madhurantakam as king, led by the Chola dynasty's finance minister, Periya. As threats loom, Prince Aditya must overcome the army of the Rashtrakuta dynasty, address the Pandya threat, and thwart Periya's conspiracy.
