Peter (Darryl Stephens) is a homosexual who, whether due to unique taste or just bad luck, has had several relationships, each with men who are already in committed relationships. These doomed romances leave Peter continually hurt, and over time, he develops a slight fear of falling in love. Jack (Scott Bailey) has a beautiful wife and lovely daughter, a decent career, and a good income, but the more perfect his life seems, the more he feels an emptiness in his soul, as he is actually attracted to men.
