The film presents the subtle emotions between dogs and humans from the perspective of a dog. A dog accompanies its young owner as he grows up, even helping him win over a girlfriend. Later, the dog ages and dies, only to reincarnate as another gender and type of dog. In its second life, the dog becomes a proud police dog, and in another reincarnation, it turns into a small corgi that accompanies a single young woman. After going through multiple reincarnations, it ultimately returns to its original owner.
