After undergoing rigorous trials, Kasahara Ikku (Nana Eikura) gradually grows into an excellent member of the Library Task Force. Following the defense of the Odawara Library, she seems to finally realize that the prince she has been thinking about for years is none other than the grumpy instructor, Dou (Junichi Okada). One day, Ikku's parents pay an unexpected visit, and she becomes flustered because she has never told them about her true job. The deaf girl Nakazawa Marie (Taoko Tsuchiya) has harbored a crush on the older brother-like Komaki Yoshihisa (Kei Tanaka) for years, but little does she know that Komaki has been arrested on charges from the Purification Team for spreading harmful books to disabled individuals. On another front, a museum researcher named Asahina Shuji (Ao Nakamura) approaches Shibasaki Asako (Chiaki Kuriyama) with a kind smile, but he has ulterior motives. Tezuka Hikaru (Sota Fukushi) receives a series of mysterious phone calls, with the caller holding the fate of the Library Task Force in their hands… This film is adapted from the original work by Hiro Arikawa.
