The handsome Mitashirashi Jou (played by Hiroshi Tamaki) possesses a genius-level IQ. He is both a brain scientist and a detective. One day, he hears a strange story from his writer friend Ishikawa Kazuki (played by Koichi Domoto). On a night of heavy rain, a woman dressed in a white dress is seen walking with a red umbrella. She arrives at a crossroad but does not cross according to the traffic signals. The woman then places the umbrella in the middle of the road, allowing passing vehicles to crush it. Mitashirashi quickly deduces that a bloody murder incident has occurred nearby where the woman was seen, and to prove his theory, he reports it to the police overnight. The next morning, his reasoning is confirmed. However, unexpectedly, the corpse of the most likely suspect, the woman in white, is also discovered shortly after...
