The Hiratsuka family, a police family, has a secret detective assisting them for generations in solving various tricky and difficult cases. This detective is quite strange; he is a fairy transformed from a pear, hence called the Boat Pear Fairy. In daily life, the Boat Pear Fairy is a well-known mascot in Japan, but few people know his true identity. One day, multiple explosions occur in Tokyo, causing unprecedented panic among the citizens. Soon after, the police receive a threatening letter from the perpetrator, who turns out to be the "Snowman of Hell" that caused an explosion 30 years ago. To catch this troublesome individual, Inspector Baba from the Chiba Nishika Police Station (played by Kinoshita Houka) orders his subordinate Hiratsuka Heisuke (played by Kojima Kazuya) to fully investigate the whereabouts of the Snowman of Hell, leading Heisuke to team up with his partner, the Boat Pear Fairy, to conduct the investigation. They discover that the Snowman of Hell has a significant connection to Heisuke's father...
