The film is adapted from Mai Sakai's novel of the same name, telling the story of two colleagues who help each other through their respective traumas while dealing with diseases and troubles that are hard for others to understand. Misato Fujisawa, who suffers from premenstrual syndrome, erupts in anger due to something done by Takatoshi Yamazoe, who just transferred to her company. In her self-loathing, Misato finds out that Takatoshi actually suffers from panic disorder, and gradually the two of them develop a relationship that is neither friendship nor romance, aiming to gain the understanding of their other colleagues, even if their own symptoms do not improve, always considering whether they can help each other.
