Yōtarō Arakaki (played by Sōta Matsumoto) is a cheerful boy with a dream of running his own little shop, working hard every day to earn money. He has a younger sister who is coming to Okinawa for school, and he wants to provide her with a good life. The sister's name is Kōrin (played by Masami Nagasawa), and she is not biologically related to him at all; their mother remarried Kōrin's father when Yōtarō was young, but the father, being inherently free-spirited, soon left them. His girlfriend's father also prevents them from dating, leading to numerous setbacks. Kōrin is very heartbroken because, deep down, she has always had feelings for her brother. Even her decision to live independently when going to university stems from this reason, but when she finally confesses her feelings to Yōtarō, he moves away from her...
