"Black Belt Patrol" is an action comedy film that tells the story of Lee Jeong-do (played by Kim Woo-bin), a ninth-degree black belt in Taekwondo, Kendo, and Judo, and his bailiff partner Kim Seon-min (played by Kim Seong-kyu), who has a keen sense for crime and can perceive martial arts abilities. Together, they work as "martial arts officers" to supervise individuals under electronic ankle bracelets and prevent crime. "Martial arts officers" monitor those with a high risk of reoffending to prevent crime and ensure public safety. They operate in pairs with bailiffs to prevent the latter from falling into danger and to apprehend criminals. The film is directed by Kim Joo-hwan, who also directed "Midnight Runners" and "The Outlaws."
