The film mainly tells the story of the early Ming Dynasty when the Yin soldiers reappear. Jinyiwei Xu Li (played by Lin Fengsong) is dispatched by the prince to Hanshan Temple to investigate the extraordinary phenomenon of the Yin Tiger Tally.
