Vegetarian Stephen (Edward Hogg) has been cooped up indoors for a year, meticulously sorting and collecting all his past receipts, until all the vegetarian ready meals he stored are destroyed by mice, forcing him to go outside. Unable to resist his fear of going out, Stephen orders a vegetarian stew takeaway from "Captain Crab" chain, reminiscing about a year ago when he and his friend Bonny (Simon Farnaby) traveled across Europe by train after winning at the horse races, where they met waitress Eloisa (Verónica Echegui) at the "Captain Crab" in Poland, leading to their shared experience at the Spanish bullfighting festival. Along the way, Stephen repeatedly tries to profess his love to Eloisa, only to be outdone by the charming Bonny, leaving Stephen utterly distressed... This film is the feature debut of British director Paul King, winning the Best Production award at the British Independent Film Awards and receiving a nomination for Best Technical Achievement.
