Following the 2008 theatrical film Beverly Hills Chihuahua and the 2011 direct-to-video sequel Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, Disney released the third installment of the series, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!, in the fall of 2012. Like the second film, it was released directly to video in the United States. In the story of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3, the Chihuahua family from Beverly Hills embarks on another adventure! Papi, Chloe, and their five puppies follow their owners Rachel and Sam as they move into a luxurious hotel that even has a spa just for the dogs, making it the perfect vacation paradise where every day feels like a carnival! However, the smallest member of the Chihuahua family, Rosa, is troubled because she feels small and insignificant, seemingly the least important member of the family. Now that dog dad Papi knows Rosa's feelings, how can he help her build confidence and discover her strengths and potential? The film is produced by Sara E. White, directed by Lev L. Spiro, and the screenplay is written by Dana Starfield. The voice cast and live-action actors are the same as in the second film, including voice actors George Lopez, Odette Yustman, and others; live-action actors include Erin Cahill, Marcus Coloma, and more. New cast members include Frances Fisher, Sebastian Roché, J.P. Manoux, among others.
