Nearing his thirties, Jin Guang (played by Gao Xiaopan) has always relied on his parents for support. In despair, he attempts suicide but fails. When searching for a job, he faces repeated setbacks. Eventually, he meets the girl of his dreams, Xiao Mai (played by Zhang Yangguoer), but things take a turn for the worse.
