Gasthuber (played by Bruno S.) lived in a dark basement since childhood, surviving on scarce water and bread, until decades later he was taken out and witnessed the vast world for the first time. However, the nightmare did not end; he simply fell from one hell into another. In the eyes of people, Gasthuber was not a flesh-and-blood human but merely a component for research and entertainment. At first, people were curious about him, but that curiosity included some malice. Gradually, everyone lost interest in this dull and pitiful object, and Gasthuber was sent to a circus. After many ups and downs, Gasthuber was finally taken in by a scholar and lived a peaceful and safe life; the scholar taught him to read and write, opening another door for him to understand the world. Unexpectedly, Gasthuber had unusually sharp and profound insights into civilization and culture, and his blunt words angered those who felt the sting of truth.
