A taxi driver, Ho-jeok (played by Seong Ji-roo), who swears to protect his home for life while bearing the heavy burden of providing for his family but remains cheerful; and a hot-blooded, righteous police officer, Il-dao (played by Jung Hoon-jin), who comes from his hometown to work in the big city of Seoul—two high school friends meet again after fifteen years at a fateful intersection—the traffic light crossing. Due to a love triangle involving a girl, Yeon-hee (played by Yoo Soo-young), they became sworn enemies in high school (the girl Ho-jeok had a crush on ended up with his best friend, Il-dao). One is a police officer who monitors speeding, while the other is a driver who wants to violate traffic rules and run red lights to pick up passengers. Indeed, old enemies have narrow paths. Il-dao encounters Ho-jeok while taking his son back to their hometown for a vacation, saying, "We had trouble breathing when we saw each other fifteen years ago, and today, fifteen years later, it seems nothing has changed!" At this moment, Il-dao and Ho-jeok are like two-year-old children, starting to argue and even fight! Ho-jeok sees his past self in his son, who is entering puberty. Should he dwell on the past or let it go and live happily? Two men, a wrong encounter that leads to numerous comical situations, also evokes deep reflections on life. In 2008, these two men, who are sworn enemies, begin a wrong yet joyful encounter under the guidance of a tumultuous destiny.
