Although Mingzhu (played by Kong Hyo-jin) and Ming'en (played by Shin Min-a) are half-sisters, they have vastly different personalities. Mingzhu has always lived a laid-back life, neither proactive nor rejecting, letting fate take its course, finding her own clever ways to resolve issues. To outsiders, her life seems mundane and aimless, but Mingzhu enjoys it fully. However, one day, the trouble-averse Mingzhu surprisingly decides to adopt a daughter, a choice that thrusts her into the spotlight of public opinion, though Mingzhu remains unconcerned. Ming'en, on the other hand, is serious and conservative, striving for perfection in everything, including her studies and work. After much hard work, she lands a coveted job at a big company, yet she still feels deeply dissatisfied. The death of their mother brings Mingzhu and Ming'en back to their long-lost hometown, where they decide to take a trip to alleviate their sorrow. Thus, the seemingly close sisters set off on their journey.
