Cool Horse is a marathon runner who loses his life in an accident. After a fierce moment, the juvenile killer awaiting sentencing feels the same loneliness as a wandering ghost. Using the last memories of his life, Cool Horse connects with the killer Candy, who unexpectedly finds herself as the only person able to see Cool Horse. Candy decides to help Cool Horse finish the marathon. Throughout the long course, Cool Horse accompanies her, and finally, Cool Horse's mother realizes that Candy is here to deliver a letter of life.
