In "Fast & Furious," to escape from the police, Dominic (Vin Diesel) leaves Los Angeles and goes into exile in the Dominican Republic. A truck carrying $1.4 million worth of oil brings Dominic back behind the wheel after years of being dormant. However, he soon receives the tragic news that his close friend Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) has been killed. Fueled by rage, Dominic heads back to the United States to uncover the truth. It turns out that Letty was helping the police to capture the drug lord Campos (John Ortiz) in hopes of obtaining a pardon for Dominic. However, Campos, out of habit, kills Letty to silence her after transporting drugs. Now, with revenge for his girlfriend on one side and seasoned detective Brian (Paul Walker) on the other, the two team up again, targeting drug lord Braga. A rapid revenge plot unfolds… The "Fast & Furious 4" continues with director Justin Lin, known for the third film, "Tokyo Drift," skipping the third film in the storyline and directly following the second, making it a true sequel.
