Thomas (played by Rafael Cardoso) was born with his eyes tightly shut for several weeks. His mother, a healthcare worker, believed that the child would open his eyes when he was ready. The first thing to enter Thomas's sight was his 6-year-older half-brother Francisco (played by Jocatilde Gabriel Vasconcellos). That glance seemed to determine their unconditional love for each other. As they grew older, Thomas increasingly admired Francisco, while Francisco took great care of Thomas. Their overly intimate interactions left their parents perplexed. Although concerned that the brothers might cross the line, the family chose to accept the possibility of their love. After various changes in life, Francisco and Thomas finally became lovers. However, Thomas needed to go to Russia for Olympic training for three years. Can their blood bond withstand the test of separation? This film is Brazil's most controversial LGBTQ movie. The director transcends bloodlines and sexual orientation to portray an unwavering love between brothers, capturing stunning visuals amidst dreams and conflicts, incest and beauty.
