The story picks up right where the last episode left off. Juni (Michael Oliver) and his foster dad, Ben (Jack Warden), finally resolve their conflicts and, having buried the hatchet, decide to move to a new city with the help of the wealthy Lavada (Laraine Newman). Clearly, Lavada has her sights set on Ben, and Ben is a bit tempted by a life of ease. The catch is, although Lavada likes Ben, she can't stand kids, and her hatred for them is extreme. Juni certainly won't sit idly by while Ben falls under Lavada's spell, so he begins to devise all sorts of ways to sabotage their relationship. During this time, Juni meets a girl named Triks (Ivyann Schwan) who shares a similar predicament, and together they decide to play matchmaker for their parents.
