Craig (played by Ice Cube) has been experiencing a string of bad luck lately; he not only lost his job but his life is also in a mess. His father constantly nags him to find work, driving Craig to frustration, so he escapes from home and seeks out his friend Smokey (played by Chris Tucker) to unwind. Smokey is a die-hard weed smoker, and in his life, drugs are the most important and only belief.
