Naruto (voiced by Junko Takeuchi), Sakura (voiced by Chieh Tanaka), and Shikamaru venture into the deep mountains to search for a lost ferret. On their way back, they are attacked by an armed knight brigade. During the fierce confrontation, Naruto and the opposing commander, Temujin, both fall off a cliff and are rescued by a passing merchant caravan. Throughout their journey, the two adversaries gradually start to understand each other and learn that Temujin aims to establish a utopia free of war and disaster, and Naruto's incredible power is exactly what they need.
